Next year’s show takes place from Sunday 17th – Tuesday 19th January. Depending on any restrictions in place, it may have to look a little different from a layout point of view, and there may be rules and regs to follow, but it’ll still be at Westpoint, Exeter! As ever, Giving & Living will be showcasing the very latest gift ideas, with a focus on the best ideas for coastal, and UK tourism markets. As the first show of the year of its kind of the year, it will allow buyers to restock and get set up for the year to come as soon as the Christmas rush is over.
After running the show for many years, we’re delighted to announce that we now own Giving & Living, having recently purchased it from Hyve Group. Now that we’re fully in control, we’ve given the show a new look, with an updated identity and a refreshed website, ready for next year’s show. But that’s not the big news. We’ve made some other changes, which we believe set the scene for the show to be a fantastic start to 2021, by making Giving & Living more accessible to exhibitors.
So what have we done? Well we’ve reduced the show to three days as well as cutting exhibiting costs across the board! It’s so important for us to support the independent sector, so we’re doing all we can to make it easy for companies to take part in the show, giving show visitors the best possible choice of the latest gift ranges. We’re also aware that this year has been challenging for many businesses, and reducing the costs will allow more exhibitors to be at the show and meet the customers their businesses will need going forward.
We have also extended the Designed and made in Britain area, by allowing new businesses who qualify access to the show for just £525, for one year only, and also reducing rates for returning businesses. We know from our post show research that many of our buyers value this area highly, as it allows them to meet producers that they might not see anywhere else, and cater for the ever increasing customer trend for buying products that both support local businesses and also reflect the area they’re visiting.
With domestic holidays forecast to dominate UK consumer vacationing behaviour over the next few years, as the after-shocks of the the Covid virus continue to be felt around the world, Giving & Living 2021 is the trade show that will inspire, and provide the gifts that discerning customers will want to take home with them, for friends, family, or as souvenirs of the holidays they’re finally able to enjoy!
