It’s the ideal way to discover a treasure trove of unusual products, niche suppliers and fresh ideas that you might otherwise sail straight past. At every step along the way you’ll be able to see, touch, taste, smell, talk and listen – the surest way to find those unique items that your customers sure to fill customers with delight.
In 2020 the Coastal Path included well-known names such as Beach Art Glass, Proctor & Clark, Quay Traders, Berserks Glass Works, Purbeck Candles and Pineapple Island, alongside exciting first timers like Betty Hula, Lucy’s Farm, Catherine Kleeli Cards and Pop Up Designs with something novel for the market. You’ll also discover beautiful items from British artists and makers such as Dunoon, Cloverzone, Cornish Bird in the Sticks, and Kernowspa. Everything from pocket money gifts, to cards, to clothing, to puppets, to jewellery. Central to your Coastal Path experience is ‘Coastal Product Revealed’ – our feature area showcasing a curated selection of merchandise from companies on the Path, giving you a space where you can focus on their products in your own time.
At the show you will find a list of all the companies that are identified as being on the Coastal Path, along with their stand numbers. These companies will also display the Coast logo on their stand fascia boards.
We do nearly all the buying for our shop for the year at this exhibition and then just repeat order. We have a seaside seasonal gift shop and so we want a range of products for this but also impulse buys and locally made products”
