Here we are again, in the middle of a mini heatwave. Many us are currently stuck inside working, looking longingly out of the window, and dreaming of cold drinks, beaches, and holidays…
Mind you, would you be brave enough to book a flight abroad at the moment…? With continuing Covid restrictions and flight cancellation chaos, it’s safer and easier to stay in this country! Unsurprisingly the demand for staycations remains extremely high in 2022, pushing ‘seasonal’ norms into an extended calendar, and attracting a new demographic, keen to explore closer to home. It’s a trend that looks likely to continue for a few years to come.
As the only trade show in the UK to specialise in Coast, we attract visitors not just from the South West, but from right around the coastline, as well as other areas of outstanding natural beauty such as North Wales and the Lake District to name just a few. Our visitors tell us that they’re looking for unique, sustainable gifts, which will appeal to visitors in all weathers, at multiple price points. And our range of exhibitors can supply everything from handmade jewellery and artwork, to personalised gifts, and even buckets & spades – something for everyone, to take home as souvenirs of their time away. We really do have the Coast covered!
The next Giving & Living trade show will take place from Sunday 15th – Tuesday 17th January 2023, in its usual venue, Westpoint in Exeter, just 1 mile off the M5, in the heart of the beautiful South West. Maybe you could have a little staycation while you’re there?
