Giving & Living springs forward!

November 10, 2020

Following the new lockdown and continuing Covid-19 uncertainty, Giving & Living, the South West’s biggest gift & home trade show, has been postponed to the Spring of 2021. Our show will now take place from Monday 10th May – Wednesday 12th May, at Westpoint, Exeter, and will, as ever, be the place for buyers looking to stock up with the very latest trends in gifts and home accessories for the year ahead.

Mike Anderson, our MD, says “We are delighted to have secured these dates, which provide more than two months lead time before the Summer season. We know how much our exhibitors and buyers are looking forward to getting back together face to face. These dates will allow businesses to trade though Easter and the early Spring, and attend with confidence to buy, after what will be a have been a very disrupted winter for us all.”

Travel restrictions and uncertainty are deterring people from holidaying abroad, and domestic holidays are forecast to dominate over the next few years, as the after-shocks of the Covid virus continue to be felt around the world. The South West is set to be one of the leading UK destinations, and the Summer showed how well it coped with increased tourist numbers. Why go abroad and risk self-isolation on your return, when you can holiday at home?

Likely to be one of the few trade buying opportunities in 2021, there’s no better time for Giving & Living to take place. It provides a safe and friendly environment in which to do business, and the perfect products for retailers looking for new ideas, with the latest ranges of gifts, suitable for family and friends, or as souvenirs of the holidays they’re finally able to enjoy.

We look forward to seeing you in May!
