With Christmas looming, we’re sure we’re not the only ones struggling to find the perfect gifts for friends and family. You know something new, that little bit different, and most importantly, something they don’t have already! Your customers are probably just the same. Well there’s a wide range of new products being launched at the show in January, so you can stock up for the year ahead and keep them happy for birthdays, Easter, Mother’s Day, the Summer season and even next Christmas! Here’s just a selection of the new products and ranges that our exhibitors are bringing to the show next month:
For those of you with magpie tendencies, there’s a lot of new sparkly things to be found. Silver Jewellery Cavern will be showing a beautiful range of blue opal jewellery for the first time, together with lots of other brand new lines being launched at the show. MassArt also have plenty of new exciting silver jewellery and watches combining silver, semi-precious stones, crystals, zirconia pearls and gold, as well as funky new fashion jewellery and display items. Sea Gems Cornwall, a family run company with over 35 years experience in design-led jewellery and gifts, are launching brand new and exciting collections for Spring 2019; beautifully presented, high quality original products for boutiques, gift shops and jewellers who are looking for something different, but at affordable prices. Jewellery is not just for women though, and Zamsoe has announced the launch, at this year’s event, of its new men’s jewellery brand “Style of the Wild” – jewellery for men with the spirit of adventure.
If you’d prefer not to accessorise with jewellery, then Oh-so Gorjuss, the lovely additions to the Santoro London collection combine whimsical style with charming flair for a delightful new look! Beautiful fashion items have joined the range, with velvet effect cotton, soft satin and leatherette embellishments delicately detailing each piece. From wallets and purses to rucksacks and shoulder bags, find Sugar and Spice, Little Red Riding Hood and The Hatter in the collection. They have also launched some beautifully presented giftware, including treasured trinket trays, wonderful wall clocks, must-have money boxes and boxed planners for ultimate organisation! If you’d like something else a little different, then Westair Reproductions are launching their new Maritime range of pin badges at Giving & Living. These are handcast from the finest quality pewter, in the UK, and offer an imaginative way to accessorise any outfit.
If you’re looking for cards for that special occasion, then Silverthorne Designs will be launching a new coastal range at the show, and there are brand new ranges from innovative card company Pigment including Hey Girl, Aura, Porcelain, Technicolour, Age of Arts & Crafts after William Morris, Fleet Street, Happy Jackson, Alice Scott… and many more!
How about gifts to go with those cards? New gifts at the show come in all shapes and sizes, for the young and old. Sawley Fine Arts have new soft toys available this year – a Cocker Spaniel, an Airedale Terrier, and a Chow Chow, as well as new 3D Notebooks. Purbeck Candles have just launched their new aromatherapy range of candles and diffusers, in 4 specific blends to help you to Relax, Focus, Inspire and Uplift, all packed in beautiful amber apothecary jars. This range has also been shortlisted in the ‘Home Fragrance’ category for Gift of the Year 2019! British Fossils are launching a new range of products in Spring 2019, and have just launched their new website too. Berserks Glass Works will be revealing new fused glass “On the Beach” products, and they will also be bringing their Daisy Collection with them. All their beautiful products are designed and made in Bovey Tracey, Devon. Britain in Print will be launching many new playing card packs next year, including 2 packs featuring the Malt Whiskies of Scotland – a total of 108 Malts, with descriptions of the taste and location of each distillery. Not only do they have new packs, but their fully be-spoke services, previously based on a minimum run of 2500, are expanding to offer customised outer packs based on orders of 500 packs (or multiples thereof) for customers who prefer a smaller run. They have an extensive range of images documenting historical landmarks and scenes throughout the British Isles, which are available as prints; either as 5″x4″ or 10″x8″ mounted print or as a 15″x 11″ loose Giclée print. As from next year their fine art souvenir print range will also be available in a new 7″x5″ mounted miniature format.
How’s about something new for the house? Proctor & Clark are launching a full range of Becky Bettesworth tea towels, coasters and magnets at the show. Sweetmans Trading will be bringing their McPasty Family featured products to the show for the first time, and will showcase a range including kitchen towels, aprons, tote bags and mugs. Claire Vaughan Designs have launched their first home linens collection. Manufactured in Britain, every napkin, tea towel, table runner and apron is made from 10oz unbleached panama cotton, featuring Claire’s exclusive designs. Norfolk China are launching their new Paul Liggins Art range. Paul Liggins is a Dorset artist, and was a Newcomer at Giving & Living 2018! He is recognised for his colourful paintings of coastal scenes featuring happy harbours and jolly fisherman. Each painting is full of its own individual detail and humour, and Norfolk China are delighted to be offering his excellent artwork on their product range. Each product can be made that extra bit special by adding an exclusive place name. New products for 2019 at JBA include exclusive Cornwall cushions, throws, rugs, bags and much more in a huge range of textiles, to be launched in January. Also new will be their licensed Peter Rabbit home wares including gift boxed tea pots and mugs, melamine trays, tea towels and aprons.
Maybe you need new products for the holidaymaker? At Giving & Living 2018 husband and wife team Karen & Steve Johnson, aka Studio 27, launched a new venture by offering their own brand of local view postcards and calendars alongside the fridge magnets, keyrings, mugs, bookmarks etc that Studio 27 was already offering, creating a bigger and better business. Having had a really successful year, they now have even more to offer as they’ve increased their range of postcards and calendars and now also offer a bespoke service for customers to create/design their own range of products. Wilton Bradley is targeting the outdoor market with a range of Volkswagen-branded products, and their Urban Beach range. They’ve been working with the iconic Volkswagen brand to create a unique and stylish range which both consumers and VW aficionados will love. From festival camping equipment to products designed for the beach, the Wilton Bradley VW range offers something truly unique from the rest of the market. They say life’s always better at the beach, and Newcomer beach powder® are launching two brand new sand removal products to make sure it stays that way – no pesky sand stuck to you! beach powder® is a talc-free, all-natural sand removing powder with a subtle vanilla scent. Sprinkle it on to sandy skin to leave skin silky-smooth, sand-free and smelling fantastic. beach powder® shimmer removes sand and adds shimmer, bringing some glamour to the beach!
