We’d like to thank everyone who took the time to complete the survey that we sent out after this year’s show. We were really pleased with the number of responses, and reading through them all has been fascinating.
For example, 71% had been to the show before and were back for more. A third of visitors liked our New Products Area and would like to see it at future shows. Only a quarter are on Twitter, but that’s an 8% increase on last year, as Twitter continues to grow in popularity as a free marketing tool. 58% found our direct emails about the show helpful or very helpful, which is great to know. And the best news of all is that 65% found the information on this website helpful.
Here’s just a few of the lovely things visitors had to say about the show:
“We wanted ideas for our business. What kind of wholesalers are out there, the products they offer and would these products appeal to our customers. Gifts, cards, jewellery, stationery etc. are the kind of products we were looking for at the show. And believe me we found that and more at the show. We were both like little children at Christmas opening our presents, going home.”
“It is not too big and always very friendly, plus easily accessible with no queuing or time wasting and always a few new ideas without having to trek for miles and miles“
“We get to catch up with existing suppliers, see what’s new and also find one or two new suppliers with something a little different.“
The winner of the survey prize draw was Trevor Prideaux from Bristol Water, who won a limited edition Rolls Royce Phantom V die-cast model, kindly donated by John Ayrey. Congratulations to Trevor – isn’t it beautiful?
We will be taking all the facts, figures, and opinions on board, to make the show even better in the future! If you would like to talk to anyone in the team about the survey findings or offer any further comments and ideas, why not leave us a comment here or call us on 01934 733433? We’d love to hear from you!
Finally, next year’s Giving & Living takes place from 11th-14th January 2015. Put it in your diary now, and we’ll see you there! 🙂
