Our show covers the whole range of gift and homeware, in a range of categories. Many of our exhibitors fall into more than one category, and many of them have news and/or new products, and to tell you about. Why not make yourself a cuppa, take a seat, and see what’s been happening in their world lately:
Need to send someone a card?
Rose Madder London have added some new British Butterfly cards to their popular card range, including beautiful images of The Painted Lady, Purple Emperor, Brimstone butterflies and also the stunning day-flying Scarlet Tiger Moth, all created by award-winning wildlife artist Richard Tratt. Each image shows the butterflies depicted in their natural habitat amongst beautiful wildflowers and scenery. On the back of each card you can learn about the butterflies and their lifecycles.
Creative artist Janice Daughters has produced lots of new designs in The Scruffo Bear Collection. Scruffo and his Paw Pals are depicted on Greetings Cards getting up to all sorts of antics. Themes range from Coastal and Outdoor pursuits, Gardening to Food (Baking and Eating). Her charming illustrations are sure to make you smile 🙂

There’s a lot of new sparkly things out there! Where to start?
Well Sea Gems are releasing hundreds of new and exciting additions to their popular jewellery and gift ranges for spring 2018, and BOING Jewellery have launched their new Porthole Silver & Rope Ring, all ready for Christmas. Harlequin Jewellery are exhibiting for the first time. Their popular Harlequin Collection, all handmade in Cornwall, has so far only been sold in their little shop in Cornwall so far and is available for wholesale the first time. Smile Jewellery constantly have new products coming in. They have recently been concentrating on their popular abalone range so look out for more new silver abalone jewellery. Talbot Fashions have added many more new designs to their successful opalescent Paua shell brand, TIDE JEWELLERY, meaning there are over 400 lines to choose from, with a style for everyone from pendants, earrings, bracelets & bangles to cufflinks, mirrors, pill boxes and brooches, all presented in their bespoke, branded Tide Jewellery gift boxes.
Fancy something a little 21st century?
Half Moon Bay were delighted to win a 2017 Licensing Award in the ‘Best Licensed Giftware Range’ category for their magical Harry Potter range. They will be launching six exciting new licenses and 420 new products for their SS18 collection. These product additions will include extensions to their already popular collections including (but not limited to!) Harry Potter, Game of Thrones, Disney, Marvel Star Wars and Doctor Who. They are also launching a Mickey Mouse 90th Anniversary collection, and a brand new Black Panther range (he’s a Marvel superhero in case you didn’t know!).
World of 3D have a fantastic range of new 3D products on show for the first time in 2018, including a brand new range of Anne Stokes 3D products. Not just pictures, but backpacks, handbags, purses, wallets, messenger bags, side bags, pencil cases plus lots more. The way the images move is just incredible, and we have no idea how they do it!
Looking for something with eco street cred?
Beautifully Handcrafted have expanded their range of gifts and prints, launching a fantastic range of artisan hand-poured soy wax candles in a variety of fragrances that have been inspired by the Cornish Coastline. They make everything in small batches, by hand, and have recently been awarded the prestigious ‘Made in Cornwall’ accreditation that is only given to a few companies each year.
Heaven Spring Salt Lamps have been awarded “Best Himalayan Salt Products Provider” at the Lux Global Excellence Awards 2017. Himalayan salt products are not just aesthetically good, but there are also many claimed health benefits. Himalayan salt lamps were one of the best selling personal gift items last year and sales of Himalayan salt products have been predicted to go up this year. Good for your health and your bottom line?

After 40 years in Wells, Black Dog relocated to Bath in 2016. Philippa retired from the business last year and her son Daniel is continuing to bring innovation to the company. Their decorative wall plaques are designed to hang up in a variety of situations whether indoors or outdoors (they’re frost resistant). They used to be mounted on blue card but this has evolved into a purpose designed presentation card with informative information about the design and the business. They also now have three display options for shops to suit whatever space is available.

British Fossils have got lots of new product launches for 2018. As the leading rock and mineral wholesaler to the UK gift trade, they specialise in top-quality rocks, minerals, fossils, gemstones, marble and jewellery. From beautiful things to wear, to decorative sculptures to display, you may be surprised how versatile rocks are!
Jamali Annay handmakes ceramic pieces with colourful designs and thoughtful messages, to make the perfect gift for all occasions. They have a new Personalised Garland set – a neat little box of hand painted letters and designs to make beautiful garlands. All of their decorations are handcrafted and handpainted in their workshop in Knaresborough, North Yorkshire using clay, glaze and paint sourced from within the north of England. Being unique, but also affordable, they make great impulse buys!
Paul Liggins Art has recently launched a new website, in addition to using Facebook for promotion, and is now reaching a growing audience both nationally and internationally, shipping products to USA, Canada and as far as Australia! Paul produces new pieces of work each month, which are scanned and applied to a rapidly expanding range of products from homewares to gifts, as well as traditional prints. His colourful paintings of coastal scenes featuring happy harbours and jolly fisherman; each painting is full of its own individual detail and humour
Rainy Days have been busy creating new Tooth Fairy glass heart charms, which come complete with a message from the tooth fairy in an organza bag….and even more charms will be along soon. They also have hand-decorated humorous mugs which will put a smile on your face while you’re enjoying your cuppa. Their mugs can also be personalised with any text to fit your business, if that’s your cup of tea.
Moocow Studios‘ exclusive product range is targeted at the tourist industry and they specialise in bespoke printed slate coasters and fridge magnets, textiles, pens and keyrings. They will be showcasing their new range of bespoke, made-in-the-UK, tea towels, aprons, cushion covers and tote bags.
Serendipity Candle Company produce top quality candles and have 10 new designs of Advent Candles, a variety of new Pillar Candle designs, as well as their more unusual Scented Milkshakes, Hot Chocolate and Latte Candles, Piglet, Teddy and Christmas Tree candles! Who could resist this little cutie?
Away from home and after a souvenir?
Following the huge success of their Country Life range of pin badges and key-rings in 2017, Westair Reproductions are delighted to be launching some exciting additions to the range at the show, including a running hare, sheep, cow, bee, swan, duck, carp and trout. Each highly detailed piece is hand-cast in pewter in the UK and finished antiqued on a quality key-chain, or superbly presented on an attractive pin badge information card. Point of sale display stands are available free of charge on request with an order, to provide a practical and attractive display option, and catch your customers’ eye.
Stands Out have been shortlisted for Gift of the Year. Their ranges are fast selling & pocket money friendly, and they do many bespoke & personalised products, with beautiful display stands for your store. They have many new products for you to see at the show, including fun key rings and personalised purses.
JBA have the largest Cornwall souvenir range around. However this year they are especially looking after the Devon customers who come to the show, as they feel that they aren’t represented well in the souvenir market. JBA have extended their range of souvenirs for this area, including tea towels, coasters and keyrings. They also have postcard box fudge, rock and postcards for both Cornwall and Devon.
Britain In Print have been in the gift and souvenir business for over 40 years, and have lots of new products, including twenty seven new titles in their playing card range, and 1600 images in their print range in a new 7 x 5 inch mounted format. That’s a lot of images! Their complete range has also been re-packaged and they offer specific customers the facility of having their own information backing the prints.
Small World offers a wide range of souvenirs; ceramic mugs, figurines, magnets, and slate which are 100% locally sourced. They now have an exciting new Coastal product range which can be personalised to your region. Just ask them how!
How about something for the young, or young at heart?
The Crafty Kit Company have a new range of needle felting kits which has been nominated for Gift of the Year 2018. The range consists of 3 kits to make either a Highland Cow, a Unicorn or a Hare’s head, mounted on a wooden plaque. The kits contain all the materials required – including the plaque. The retail cost of these kits is £14.99 and they will be launched early in the new year, so you’ll be amongst the first to see them!
EDUK8 Worldwide are an independent family owned, toy design and manufacturing company distributing completely unique learning toys and gifts all around the world. They have lots of new product ranges that they are introducing into the market in 2018, quality products and ranges that are exclusive to Eduk8 N play, many of which will be selling for the first time in the UK. This small family company from Bristol already has a beautiful collection of children’s gifts and toys, and they are launching a new range of cute backpacks, knitted toys, a plush unicorn and also plush unicorn backpacks. Ever wish you were a kid again?
Global Journey have lots of new products for 2018, including ‘Notes n Quotes’ Notebooks, a Christmas Kids Book range. Tobar Group Trading stocks over 1500 quality toys, soft toys, gifts & gadgets, many of which you may be familiar with from your own childhood. On top of that they will be showing a number of new lines for the very first time at the show. With all that on offer, there really is something for everyone!
