Just Buy
Just Buy UK is a BAFTS registered Fair Trade Importer. They work closely with the artisans of Tabaka village in Western Kenya to provide market access for their beautiful beaded wire craft, wooden and soapstone sculptures in the UK. Tabaka, near Kisii in the Western Highlands, is home to Kenya’s finest stone carvers. The Kisii/Gusii community are renowned for their artistic skill with the local soapstone. They have a long tradition of carving ornate decorative art, together with functional items such as plates and bowls.
Through supporting Just Buy UK Ltd, carvers in Kenya can begin to earn a fair wage for their work. With the money that they earn they can afford to eat, live and send their children to school. (Stand A129).
Glass on Glass
Glass on Glass produce quirky and unusual glassware and glass art individually designed and created using re-claimed glass – re-cycling at its best! They have a range of practical coasters, elegant bowls and vibrant wall panels to suit your taste and your budget. (Stand B661).
Jean Barry Soap
Jean Barry Soaps are made purely in Cornwall. The traditional cold process uses no detergents, only vegetable oils combined with lye and water. Once they have been stored to allow them to mature, the soaps are hard polished, before being wrapped and packaged. (Stand B459a).
Glebe Cottage
South west based, environmental award-winning card, calendar and stationery publisher. Their ambition is to share the inspiration they find in art and nature, whilst making the world a little bit greener, even if it is only one card at a time! Their collections include the Wildlife Trusts and The Lost Gardens of Heligan, local artists and photography. They will have lots of new products at the show – get your hands on them before anyone else does! (Stand B441).
Windhorse
Windhorse started trading in 1980, and since then they have grown substantially, becoming a major wholesaler within the sector. They are a direct importer of windchimes, gifts and homewares so you can be sure you are getting the best possible choice and price on all your wholesale gift supplies. They also design a lot of their own giftware so you won’t find some of their best lines anywhere else. They have something for everyone and what’s more, all their gifts are ethically traded.
